When you’re getting a new roof, what usually happens? The roofer comes to your house. You sit at the kitchen table. They talk about their company. They give you a quote and leave you with a bunch of color samples. You are responsible for picking the color and style. Most of the focus is on the roofer and the quote. Very little is on the color choices. The roofer doesn’t care. That’s not his thing. What’s more, the colors he’s left you probably represent only some of the major brands and only about 60% of the color choices on the market. You’re left to make a 25 year decision based on limited color choices and some samples that are much too small. Who can make a 2,000 square foot decision based on a 3″ sample? Too many times people end up saying “that’s not how it looked on the kitchen table”.
